BayCon 2012 Writer Guest of Honor

deirdreBayCon's Writer Guest of Honor next year will be Brandon Sanderson.
Brandon is the author of the Mistborn trilogy, as well as several other fantasy and young-adult novels. In 2007 Robert Jordan's widow and publisher jointly selected Brandon to complete the legendary "The Wheel of Time" series. Both of the first two books Brandon wrote for that series, "The Gathering Storm" and "Towers of Midnight," reached No. 1 on the New York Times best-seller list. His third and concluding book in the series, "A Memory of Light," is due in 2012.
As usual, BayCon will be held Memorial Day weekend at the Hyatt Santa Clara.
