deirdreI know many of you on my f-list are either poets or in the bay area, so it's possible you know a candidate for this position.
Requirements: "Applicants for the inaugural Poet Laureate position must be 21 years of age, reside or have worked in Cupertino in the last two successive years, and have been published or otherwise recognized as a poet. Applicants with disabilities, even speech, and candidates fluent in languages in addition to English, are encouraged to apply. Poems must be submitted in English."
Feel free to publicize of course. I'd love to see Cupertino have its first poet laureate.
