Eating in Barcelona

deirdreWe're going on a cruise. I know from past experience that NCL's really good about gluten-free food, so that's not an issue. What's an issue is eating before/after our cruise in Barcelona. We'll be staying near Las Ramblas near Liceu Metro station.
Anyone have gluten-free food recommendations/disrecommendations?
My Spanish is woefully inadequate, but I'll probably manage in a touristy area.
