Pigeon Point Lighthouse
Nov. 14th, 2010 03:17 amEvery year, the fresnel lens at the Pigeon Point lighthouse is lit for two hours, just like it was lit in 1872 and times since -- except without the lard lamp.
You see pictures of these things and you never are quite sure: were they easy shots? Difficult ones?
With a tripod, not too difficult to get a really good shot. I took some 60-second shots, but also took some shorter shots on auto.
