Dear Hips & Curves,

I know it's all the trend to use the word "must have" in fashion. And I do recognize that you cater to the D&S crowd, so I give a little leniency to you there.

However….

There is no garment I "must have."

I must have clothing, but not necessarily from you and not necessarily something you'd sell.

I must have food, but there is no specific food I must have.

What I must have is money in the bank, a loved one, adequate nutrition, shelter, and warmth.

Nothing you happen to sell.

Would the fashion industry please get the fuck over itself?
