Biopsy Results

deirdreMy left thyroid nodule came back clean, the larger right one came back insufficient (but what they had was clean). Hormone therapy to attempt to reduce the nodule.
So, since the beginning of October, 2006, here's the household's cancer and cancer scares:
1) My mother had endometrial cancer and went from symptom to verified cured in 19 days.
2) Scruffy (the cat) had surgery for connective tissue cancer in May 2007 and, when it recurred, he had his leg amputated in August 2007.
3) I had an abnormal mammogram and went through a biopsy for same in December 2007, which came back clean.
4) Rick found out he had cancer in February, and had surgery at the end of April. Last week, it was confirmed they didn't have clean margins so he'll have radiation.
5) I found a lump in my throat in April, and had a biopsy on it last week (when Rick was still in the hospital).
Nothing like a little stress, huh?
