Movies: Something New

I hadn't heard about Something New during its initial release, and many of the points it makes have also been made in the various threads about racism and learning about other cultures, but this is in a condensed and dramatized form. Despite its billing as a romantic comedy, it's really not a comedy, though it does have comedic moments.

I'm quite charmed by Simon Baker's talk about doing the movie.

I'm sure there's various criticisms that could be made about the movie, but I enjoyed it.
