deirdreI was always disheartened when I heard red-headed men (in particular) complain about not getting dates, about being snubbed, and about wanting to dye their hair.
I happen to be one of those people who likes red hair, and I have red-heads in my family. I'm not naturally red-headed (though my father's father was), but I do have the coloring for it, and I think I look better with red hair.
My first husband thought my hair color was "unnatural" until we went to Ireland and it was indistinguishable from others in the crowd.
