Himself (
rinolj) is an agnostic apathist.
I'm a follower of Wicca, Druid(ry|ism), and Ifa.
When we got married, we got married by someone who was a minister of Universal Life Church.
In the eyes of, say, the Mormon church, am I married in the eyes of their concept of God?
Especially after remarrying after being widowed?
I know that traditionally, my first marriage wouldn't have been counted for Catholics, as he'd been divorced more than once. But the second?
So if I'm not legally married in the eyes of God (for either marriage), what difference would it make if I'd exchanged vows with someone named Jane than someone named Richard or Rick?
This is a serious question -- I simply don't get their take on things, and I'd at least like to understand the position a bit better.
