We booked a tour to go out to Delphi today.

I hadn't realized exactly how far that happened to be. Sure, at some point, I'd seen it on a map, but I hadn't thought about the distance. Going there and back, with no detours, was 360+ km (223+ miles) by road.

Surprisingly, Greece was quite overcast, and it threatened to be actually chilly. However, it cleared up when we were about halfway up. Unsurprisingly, Rick went further up than I; I didn't get up to the Temple of Apollo (though, but Rick did.

There are a lot of cats around Delphi -- mostly, they ignore humans. As we came back to the bottom, I saw a small doorway, perhaps three feet (one meter) tall. Apparently, a litter of kittens lived behind the door. So these are the permanent residents of Delphi now.

I absolutely could not resist a cat macro.
