Johanna and Alex: A Request

Update: Alex passed away this evening.

My friend Johanna, britgeekgrrl, her husband Alex is dying of cancer.

I'm a widow (remarried, but still...). I know exactly how difficult that process is, and if you haven't lost immediate family you're living with, you may not really be aware of how difficult it is. I remember the stress level, not being able to sleep for months, and not being able to sleep at night for almost a year (because it happened at night).

Alex has recently taken a couple of nosedives health-wise, and if you have any thoughts, prayers, or other support to offer, they'd appreciate it.

I can't lie: I loved New Moon.

That's not to say that it's not cheesetastic (though I prefer to think of it as beeftastic, tyvm).

Nowhere is it said better than in the New Moon in 15 Minutes guide.

Naturally, there are spoilers, but it lovingly follows the film scene-by-scene, though I would have liked more about Bella's sudden gazelle-like talents completely out of line with her character in the first film....

One line: "BELLA: So... you came down with a fever of a hundred and werewolf and... now you're allergic to shirts."
